Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of interinstitutional collaboration and cooperation within the Mexican Federal Judiciary, highlighting the central role of the Federal Judiciary Council as a coordinating body. It distinguishes between internal cooperation (among the Supreme Court, the Electoral Tribunal, and the Council itself) and external cooperation (with other branches of government, local judicial branches, and academic institutions). Internally, the article emphasizes the need for coordination, dialogue, and the issuance of joint policies to improve the efficiency, administrative management, and social recognition of the judiciary. Externally, it underscores the importance of engaging with other branches of government, society, and academia to strengthen transparency, training, and institutional legitimacy. The text also illustrates inter-institutional cooperation through joint actions during the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating coordination among branches of government to ensure the continuity of judicial functions. Finally, it concludes that constant dialogue, respect for autonomy, and self-criticism are essential for improving the administration of justice and social well-being.
